Dr. Porter is engaged in a broad range of communications activities as an adjunct to the WPC's consulting and research efforts.

The intent of the communications side of the practice is to provide a knowledgeable and objective voice to discuss environmental problem areas in a commonsense manner.

Communications are both written and spoken, and include:

• Interviews with print, radio, and television outlets. In the last few years this has included interviews for front page recycling articles in the New York Times, Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. The most recent interviews are listed here.
  
  
• Numerous op-ed pieces written for major newspapers, including the The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and major regional papers.
  
  
• Numerous speeches and presentations on various environmental topics.
  
  
• Testimony before various congressional committee

• Press Releases on a variety of subjects.
